A-Frames come in a range of widths, typically from 3m up to 50m, and expand in modular bays for length, so we can scale the structure to your site and capacity needs. Once you share your layout, intended use (event, storage, or operations), and expected headcount or equipment list, our team will recommend sizes that fit while leaving room for circulation and paths.

A-Frame clearspans can be installed for a weekend event or stay in place for months or longer, depending on your permits, site conditions, and operational needs. During planning, we will confirm your timeline and design the structure, anchoring, and accessories with long-term performance and service in mind.

A-Frames work on grass, gravel, asphalt, and concrete as long as the area is reasonably level and accessible for trucks and equipment. We will review photos, drawings, or a site visit to confirm clearances, overhead lines, underground utilities, and access routes before finalizing a layout.

If your site is not level, decking options are available to provide a safe, level, clear-span solution for your event.

Depending on your site and local requirements, we can anchor the structure with stakes (metal rods driven into the ground), ground anchors (devices that secure the tent to the earth), or engineered ballast (heavy weights designed to stabilize the structure). On paved or sensitive surfaces, we typically use concrete or steel ballast blocks instead of staking, which protects the surface while still meeting structural requirements.

A-Frame clearspans are engineered systems with defined wind and, when required, snow load ratings (the ability to withstand specific wind speeds and snow accumulation). We match the structure, anchoring, and accessories to the conditions of your project and provide guidance on operating procedures in severe weather so you know when to pause activity, evacuate, or close the structure if needed.

Yes. We regularly pair A-Frames with tent heaters, AC units, and full HVAC systems, along with appropriate air distribution and wall systems. During design, we consider your use case, occupancy, and local climate to recommend a setup that keeps people and products within the appropriate temperature range.

To build an accurate quote, we will ask for your site location, dates, intended use (event, storage, production, relief, etc.), approximate footprint or capacity, and any key accessories, such as doors, walls, flooring, and HVAC. If you have site drawings or photos, those make the process even faster and clearer for everyone involved.

For large events and long-term structures, the earlier the better, especially during peak seasons. As a general guideline, several months of lead time helps with engineering, permitting, and scheduling crews, but we can often accommodate shorter timelines depending on inventory and project complexity. Because A-Frames are our most stocked clearspan style, they’re often the go-to option for compressed timelines or short-notice needs, subject to availability.
