Looking for a hands-on leadership role in the event and tent rental industry? JK Rentals, a leading provider of large tents, clearspan structures, and event rentals, is hiring Crew Leaders to guide teams through setup and breakdown of rental equipment for festivals, corporate events, private gatherings, and construction projects.
As a Crew Leader, you’ll work side by side with your crew, ensuring safe installations, efficient timelines, and satisfied customers. This is a great career for people who enjoy outdoor work, leadership, and building memorable spaces for events across Wisconsin and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and work with crews to install and dismantle tents, structures, flooring, staging, and rental equipment
Read and follow work orders to complete successful event setups
Assign tasks, maintain morale, and ensure teamwork on every jobsite
Prioritize safety and create a secure work environment
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to meet expectations
Operate trucks and heavy equipment (CDL encouraged but not required)
Load and secure materials for safe transport; frequently lift 50+ lbs
Track crew labor hours and request additional equipment when needed
Ensure proper layout and squaring of tents before installation
Maintain professionalism and uphold JK Rentals’ reputation for precision and quality
