When Mecum, America’s largest auto auction, needed reliable, large-scale temporary infrastructure for its 2025 event in Kissimmee, FL, JK Rentals stepped in to engineer a solution exceeding 750,000 square feet of premium tent coverage.

Partnership Built on Precision

For years, JK Rentals has collaborated closely with Mecum Auctions to design and construct massive, temporary event infrastructure for the largest collector car auction in the United States. Mecum Kissimmee spans 13 days, showcases more than 4,500 collector vehicles, and draws attendees from around the globe.

Our role? Ensure the infrastructure behind the experience is just as iconic as the cars being sold.

The 2025 event marked one of our most ambitious builds to date, with over 750,000 square feet of tent coverage—including Levo, Arcum, high-peak, and tension pole structures—customized for foot traffic, vehicle access, stage setup, and environmental control.

Customized Configurations for Maximum Flexibility

To accommodate extensive foot traffic and valuable vehicles, JK Rentals implemented a versatile array of temporary structures. These included:

  • Clearspan structures: Engineered for unobstructed interior spaces.
  • High-peak tension tents: Designed for quick installation and eye-catching aesthetics.
  • Specialized structures (Levo and Arcum): Tailored for specific needs such as enhanced durability and unique appearance.
  • ADA-compliant structures and equipment integration
  • Rapid setup over 120 acres at Osceola Heritage Park

Each structure was strategically positioned for optimal event flow and operational ease.

Inside the Auction Engine Room
